Settees should be beautiful to look at but also sublimely comfortable to sit upon. This example accomplishes both. The seat is carved into a series dishes and the undulating back slats provide excellent lumbar support. We make this settee with endless variations of seat decoration and back slat colors. It is available as a love seat and even a chair. As pictured, the poplar seat is given a light wash of green stain, the back slats are naturally colored mahogany, and the legs and stretchers are hard maple.
