This dining chair represents an exploration wherein the basic principles of chair construction are reexamined in order to simplify the process while still resulting in an elegant and graceful design. It has been named the "Primal" chair. As shown it is constructed with white ash and with wenge detailing. The finish takes advantage of the subtle coloration of orange shellac under lacquer. The upholstered seat can be custom specified.
